Lauren Johnson, MSPAS, PA-C

Lauren has joined NewCircle following a 10-year stint spent in family medicine. This experience provided her with a unique opportunity to walk alongside her patients in multiple stages of life. The common thread she found across all stages was that patients crave a relationship with their provider built on trust and compassion. She holds to the principle that an effective healthcare provider is about more than just knowledge of medicine, but also about meeting patients where they are. And sometimes, the most powerful treatment one can give is to sit with someone through their joy, grief, hurt, or fear. 

She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Alabama and a Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

While she is not at work or caring for clients, she enjoys a good DIY project and a good book.
