Amy Henry, DNP, CRNP, AGPCNP-BC

Amy is the on-site medical provider for patients at NewCircle, where she provides care across varying levels of acuity. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and is board-certified as an Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner. Amy brings over a decade of healthcare experience, with a deep commitment to caring for underserved and marginalized populations. Her approach centers on meeting patients where they are and helping them make sustainable changes by building insight, resilience, and day-to-day function. She is currently completing her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) training at UAB, driven by a strong interest in how mental health and physical health influence one another.

Before healthcare, Amy worked across a range of industries, which shaped her practical, down-to-earth approach with patients. Her doctoral work explored music-based interventions for pain management, reflecting an ongoing interest in accessible, real-world tools that support healing. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her partner and their child, staying active, home projects, and anything involving music. She also has two dogs and is currently attempting to learn fly fishing… stay tuned.
