About us
Whether you are looking to process past experiences, navigate present challenges, or prepare for the future, Chris is honored to walk alongside you on your healing journey. With more than 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults, Chris specializes in supporting individuals struggling with eating disorders and related concerns such as anxiety, low self-esteem, perfectionism, and shame. He understands that eating disorders are complex conditions that often serve as coping strategies for deeper emotional pain, trauma, or a need for control, and he approaches treatment with care, curiosity, and respect.
Chris’s counseling philosophy is grounded in his core values of compassion, communication, commitment, and community. He believes that lasting recovery comes from addressing the underlying factors that fuel disordered eating, including unresolved trauma, distorted self-beliefs, and difficulties in relationships. Through a collaborative and strengths-based approach, Chris helps clients develop healthier coping skills, reconnect with their values, rebuild their relationship with their bodies, and cultivate self-trust and motivation. His work emphasizes learning practical tools while also creating space for healing, self-acceptance, and meaningful connection—allowing clients to regain a sense of control and fully engage in the present.
Outside of the therapy room, Chris enjoys spending quality time with his family.
