6-minute jQuery Jumpstart with the slideUp effect

In this 6-minute example, Bruno Terkaly, Developer Evangelist at Microsoft, will show you how to apply the jQuery slideUp effect to a simple datatable.

Bruno will start with a datatable on a plain HTML page, add a little style with some basic CSS, and then show you how to spice it up with a bit of animation using the jQuery JavaScript library.

By the end of this quick tutorial you will be able to leverage the power of events which are used to register behaviors to take effect when the user interacts with the browser, and to further manipulate those registered behaviors for your own applications
