Polymer: Building Blocks for the Web



Web components could be a game changer in the way we develop for the web. In simple terms, they are a set of specifications that allow web developers to build reusable widgets, and create custom elements, that look like the building blocks we know and love.

Polymer is a library that puts elements back at the center of web development. It allows devs to create their own HTML elements and combine them into complete applications. Eric Bidelman and Matthew McNulty, members of the Polymer team, speak at SF JavaScript, about the need for web components and all the interesting problems they can solve for modern applications.
